Itinerary

Day 1: Monday – East Bank Treasures of Luxor

Embark the Sonesta St. George Cruise before lunch and get comfortable in your suite. Enjoy lunch on board, then head out for an afternoon exploration of Luxor’s East Bank. Visit the grand Karnak Temple and the magnificent Luxor Temple, rich with pylons, statues, and sacred history. Return to the ship for afternoon tea, then dine on board and enjoy an evening belly dance performance. Meals: Lunch, Dinner Overnight: Luxor

Day 2: Tuesday – West Bank Royal Tombs & Sailing to Esna

After breakfast, cross to Luxor’s West Bank for a day of ancient royal sites. Tour The Valley of the Kings, continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut, and stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the cruise, have lunch on board, and begin sailing to Esna. Later, enjoy afternoon tea, and in the evening attend the Captain’s cocktail reception. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Overnight: On board

Day 3: Wednesday – Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

Sail early to Edfu, then visit the imposing Edfu Temple. After the tour, return to the ship and enjoy lunch as you continue cruising toward Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, visit the Kom Ombo Temple, uniquely dedicated to two deities: Sobek and Horus the Elder. The day ends with dinner on board and a festive Galabeya Party. Day 4: Thursday – Discover Aswan’s Heritage

Arrive in Aswan early and enjoy breakfast. Then begin your sightseeing with The High Dam Of Egypt and the Temple of Philae, reached by a scenic motorboat ride. Continue with another motorboat trip to the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener’s Island. Return to the cruise for lunch, then relax with afternoon tea on the sundeck. Dinner is served in the evening, followed by a Nubian folklore show. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Overnight: Aswan

Day 5: Friday – Disembarkation in Aswan

Enjoy breakfast on board, then disembark to conclude your Nile cruise experience. If you have extra time available, an optional tour to the Abu Simbel Temples can be arranged. Meals: Breakfast Overnight: Not included
