Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Luxor – East Bank Treasures
Meet our representative at Luxor Airport or the train station and transfer to embark on the MS Farah Nile Cruise. After settling in, enjoy lunch on board, then head out to explore the East Bank’s renowned monuments. Begin at Karnak Temple, where you will see The Avenue Of Sphinxes and the monumental Hypostyle Hall. Continue to Luxor Temple, admired for its mythology and royal associations and especially striking in the afternoon light. Return to the ship for tea on the sun deck, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 2: Luxor West Bank – Temples and Tombs | Sail to Esna
Enjoy breakfast, then cross the Nile to Luxor’s West Bank for a guided tour of its celebrated archaeological sites. Visit The Valley of the Kings, where royal tombs are cut deep into the cliffs. Continue to the mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, known for its elegant design and dramatic setting, and then stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the cruise for lunch, and later begin sailing toward Esna, passing through the Esna lock. Spend time unwinding on the sundeck as dinner is served while the journey continues.

Day 3: Edfu & Kom Ombo – Stories in Stone
This morning, ride by horse carriage to the Edfu Temple, one of the most complete ancient temples in Egypt. Rejoin the ship and have lunch while sailing onward to Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, visit the dual-deity Kom Ombo Temple, then continue to the Crocodile Museum to see mummified crocodiles and other artifacts connected to the site’s worship traditions. Return to the cruise for dinner and an overnight stay on board as the ship proceeds toward Aswan.

Day 4: Aswan Highlights – Graceful Temples & Granite Wonders
After breakfast, set out to see Aswan’s top landmarks, beginning with The High Dam Of Egypt. Then take a boat to Temple Of Philae on Agilkia Island, devoted to the goddess Isis. Conclude at the Unfinished Obelisk, which reveals how ancient craftsmen worked massive granite blocks. Return to the cruise for lunch, with time afterward to relax or join an optional felucca ride. Dinner is served on board, and you will spend the night in Aswan.

Day 5: Farewell & Optional Abu Simbel Tour
Enjoy your final breakfast on board the MS Farah Nile Cruise, then disembark in Aswan to conclude your journey along the Nile.
