Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Luxor – Begin Your Egypt Nile Cruise Luxury Journey

Arrive at Luxor Airport or the train station, where you will be met and assisted, then driven in a private air-conditioned vehicle to your Egypt Nile Cruise Luxury. Check-in and embarkation take place before 12:00 PM. Later, head to Luxor’s East Bank to begin the sightseeing with the vast Karnak Temple, renowned as the largest religious structure ever constructed. The principal sanctuary is devoted to Amun Ra, regarded as king of the gods. While much of what you see belongs to the Middle Kingdom era, the site’s roots are linked to references as early as the 3rd Dynasty. Continue to Luxor Temple, raised by a ruler of the 12th Dynasty and later completed by Ramses II. Standing in the center of ancient Thebes, it was also dedicated to Amun Re and served as a key setting for major religious celebrations. Return to the cruise to relax. In the evening, enjoy an Egyptian folkloric show arranged by the onboard team, then sit down to dinner. Meals: Lunch, Dinner Overnight: On board in Luxor

Day 2: Discover Luxor’s West Bank – Sail Toward Edfu

After breakfast onboard, cross to Luxor’s West Bank, an area filled with sacred necropolises and legendary monuments. Begin at The Valley of the Kings, the burial place of Egypt’s great pharaohs, where tombs were cut deep into the mountains. Enter the chambers and take in the vivid paintings illustrating the royal journey to the afterlife. Next, visit the Temple Of Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari, an extraordinary terraced monument set against the cliffs. Its design and preservation highlight the authority and legacy of one of Egypt’s most celebrated female rulers. Before returning, stop at the Colossi of Memnon—two immense statues that have stood for millennia at the edge of the Theban necropolis, surviving as impressive remnants of a once-grand temple complex. Go back to your Egypt Nile Cruise Luxury for lunch, then sail toward Edfu. The afternoon is at leisure onboard, followed by dinner as the ship docks for the night. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Overnight: On board in Edfu

Day 3: Temples of Edfu & Kom Ombo – Continue to Aswan

Enjoy breakfast, then set out to the Edfu Temple, counted among Egypt’s best-preserved ancient temples. Travel through town by traditional horse-drawn carriage to reach the site. At the entrance, admire the towering pylons and the Horus statues guarding the way. Inside, move through richly carved halls where the falcon-headed god is honored, with stone reliefs recounting myths, kingship, and divine protection. Return to the cruise for lunch while sailing onward to Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, visit Kom Ombo Temple, a rare double temple dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile god of fertility, and Horus the Elder, god of kingship and the sky. Its balanced, symmetrical plan includes twin sanctuaries and detailed reliefs reflecting the dual nature of worship here. Continue to the nearby Crocodile Museum to see mummified crocodiles and notable artifacts, including ancient surgical tools. Back on board, dinner is served as you continue toward Aswan, with peaceful Nile views as evening settles over the water. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Overnight: On board in Aswan

Day 4: Explore Aswan – Philae Temple Visit

After breakfast onboard, depart with your guide to visit one of Aswan’s most enchanting landmarks: Temple Of Philae. Reach Agilika Island by a short boat ride, then explore the temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. The complex was rescued and relocated following the construction of The High Dam Of Egypt, and it is known as one of the final sites where ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and demotic script appear. Walk through colonnades, open courtyards, and sacred chambers where mythology and history remain carved into the stone. Return to the cruise for lunch and dinner, and enjoy a calm final evening surrounded by Aswan’s tranquil atmosphere. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Overnight: On board in Aswan
