Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Aswan – Temples & Tranquility
Arrive in Aswan and meet your representative, then head to the Steigenberger Senator Nile Cruise to embark before lunch. After you get comfortable in your suite, enjoy lunch on board. Later, begin your guided sightseeing with the impressive High Dam, a landmark of modern engineering. Continue by motorboat to the beautiful Philae Temple, devoted to the goddess Isis, and then visit the ancient granite quarries to see the remarkable Unfinished Obelisk, left incomplete in its birthplace. Return to the ship for dinner, and enjoy a restful evening in Aswan.

Day 2: Kom Ombo & Edfu – Temples of Duality and Protection
Start your morning with breakfast as the cruise sails early toward Kom Ombo. On arrival, tour the unique Kom Ombo Temple, shared between Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. After the visit, continue sailing to Edfu and have lunch on board. In the afternoon, ride by horse carriage to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, celebrated as Egypt’s best-preserved temple, with towering pylons and finely carved scenes. In the evening, sail onward toward Luxor via Esna. Enjoy afternoon tea on the sun deck, then join a cocktail party, followed by dinner and a cheerful Galabeya Party.

Day 3: Luxor – The West Bank & East Bank Marvels
After breakfast, set out to discover Luxor’s famed West Bank. Visit the Valley of the Kings, where royal tombs lie beneath the desert hills, then continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, carved dramatically into the cliffs. Stop at the Colossi of Memnon before returning to the cruise for lunch. In the afternoon, explore the East Bank, beginning with the vast Karnak Temple complex, then visit Luxor Temple with its graceful monuments. Back on board, enjoy dinner and end the evening with a belly dance performance and a whirling dervish show.

Day 1: Arrival in Luxor – East Bank Exploration
Embark on the Steigenberger Senator Nile Cruise before lunch and enjoy your welcome meal on board. Afterwards, head out with your Egyptologist guide to explore Luxor’s East Bank. Walk through Karnak Temple, known for its immense columns, sacred obelisks, and inscriptions that span centuries, then continue to Luxor Temple, linked historically to Karnak by the Avenue of Sphinxes. Return to the ship for dinner and your first overnight on board.

Day 2: Luxor West Bank – Temples & Tombs | Sail to Edfu
Following breakfast, cross to Luxor’s West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where rulers were buried in richly decorated tombs. Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and then stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the cruise for lunch as the ship begins sailing to Edfu via the Esna Lock. Later, relax on the sundeck with afternoon tea, then attend the Captain’s cocktail party before dinner on board.

Day 3: Temples of Edfu & Kom Ombo – Sailing South
Have breakfast, then visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, a remarkably intact Ptolemaic sanctuary filled with detailed ritual and battle scenes. Return to the ship and sail to Kom Ombo, with lunch served on board. In the afternoon, tour the twin Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to Sobek and Horus the Elder, and hear about ancient healing practices and the crocodile mummies associated with the site. Continue sailing to Aswan, and after dinner, enjoy the lively Galabeya Party.

Day 4: Aswan – Temples, Gardens & Culture
Begin with breakfast, then set out to explore Aswan’s key landmarks. Visit the High Dam, then continue to the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarry where it was carved. After that, admire Philae Temple, beautifully set on the river and dedicated to Isis. Return to the cruise for lunch. In the afternoon, sail by traditional felucca to the Botanical Gardens. Conclude the day with dinner on board and a Nubian Show celebrating local culture and heritage.
