Your Lake Nasser Cruise Egypt begins upon arrival at Abu Simbel Airport or from your hotel in Abu Simbel, where you will be met and escorted to your cruise by private vehicle. Later, go ashore for three notable discoveries: the Amada Temple, renowned as the oldest monument in the Lake Nasser region and celebrated for its well-preserved inscriptions; the Temple of Derr, a rock-cut sanctuary built by Ramses II; and the Tomb of Pennut, an uncommon example of a viceroy’s tomb that was relocated to protect it from flooding. Return to the ship for lunch, then enjoy an evening cocktail reception and a Nubian cultural show onboard. Overnight as the cruise continues sailing toward Wadi El Seboua.

Begin early with a visit to Wadi El Seboua, meaning the “Valley of the Lions,” famous for monuments rescued and relocated away from the rising waters.
