Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Aswan & Nile Cruise Embarkation

  • A licensed Egyptologist guide will meet and assist you at Aswan Airport, the train station, or your hotel, then transfer you via air‑conditioned van to your 5‑star Nile cruise ship. Check-in is completed before lunch.
  • Lunch onboard as the cruise begins.
  • In the afternoon:
    • Visit the Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel built to control flooding and generate electricity.
    • Take a motorboat ride to Philae Temple on its island, dedicated to the goddess Isis.
  • Return to the cruise for dinner and a folkloric show.
  • Overnight onboard in Aswan.

Day 2 -Sailing to Kom Ombo

If you choose the Abu Simbel Optional

  • Around 4:30 AM, your guide will pick you up for an early excursion (in a small shared group) to the rock‑cut temples of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II for himself and Queen Nefertari.
  • Return to the cruise for lunch, then set sail toward Kom Ombo.
  • Visit the unique Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to Sobek (crocodile god) and Horus (falcon god).
  • Return to the ship for dinner, then continue sailing toward Edfu.
Overnight onboard in Edfu. Abu Simbel Optional: 120 USD Per person

Day 3 – Edfu, Sailing, and Luxor Temple

  • After breakfast, enjoy a horse‑drawn carriage ride to the well‑preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu.
  • Return to the cruise and enjoy scenic views of the Nile, passing through the Esna lock.
  • Lunch onboard, followed by afternoon tea on the sun deck as you sail toward Luxor.
  • Afternoon tour of Luxor Temple on the East Bank, showcasing a blend of ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic architectural styles.
    • If arriving by 3:00–3:30 PM, it's possible to also visit Karnak Temple.
  • Dinner onboard, accompanied by a belly‑dancing show.
  • Overnight onboard in Luxor.

Day 4 – West Bank , Karnak Temple Tour & Departure

  • After breakfast, your tour continues to:
    1. Valley of the Kings, the royal necropolis of pharaohs like Tutankhamun.
    2. Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el‑Bahari.
    3. Photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon.
  • Cross to the East Bank to visit the massive and historic Karnak Temple.
  • The tour concludes around 3:00–4:00 PM. You will be transferred to your Luxor hotel, airport, or train station. *Hot air balloon: Optional: 90 USD per person
